Leading Bariatric Surgeons of India were invited to Delhi last weekend to discuss their experiences and outcomes in the Indian scenario.
Best practices on indications, choice of procedure, technique during surgery, post operative nutrition, dealing with complications etc topics were deliberated to minimize potential controversies, between different surgeons performing the same procedure, due to varied experiences.
Dr Agrawal took part in this panel discussions as National Expert in Mini Gastric Bypass which is a newer and hybrid Bariatric surgery to offer the best of two procedures- sleeve and gastric bypass- in one to the patients with excellent results. Dr Agrawal also shared his pioneering and large experience of Diabetes Surgery which can treat non-obese individuals too with permanent resolution of Type 2 diabetes.
